Watermarks and downloads

2 minute read·Updated 1 October 2026

Watermarks are part of some plans. See Pricing for which. With one on, clients get your renders and photos at screen size with your studio name burned into the picture before it leaves the server, so a screenshot carries it too.

1Turn it on for a project

Open the project’s Settings and, under Protecting your work, switch on Watermark what clients see.

Under Wording on the image, leave it empty to use your studio name, or write something else. Some studios prefer “PRELIMINARY” or “NOT FOR CONSTRUCTION”.

2Give clean files

Turn the watermark off once a client has paid. They then get clean, full-resolution files from the same link; there’s nothing new to send.

3A default for new projects

In Settings → Studio, switch on Watermark new projects so every new project starts watermarked. Each project can still turn it on or off in its own settings.
